Color Knitting the Easy Way - Melissa Leapman's New Book

Spring into Stripes Pullover

Knit in Greenland (100% Merino Superwash Wool - 137 yds/100 g - machine washable and dryable)
2-4 sks each of 3525, 3518, and 3508.
Sizes  - 2, 4, 6, 8

This adorable sweater is both easy to knit and fun to wear.  Two alternative color ways are offered in the book, but there are numerous color combinations with more than 50 colors to choose from.  Greenland is a great yarn for kids since it feels more like stretchy cotton than wool and it washes beautifully.
Nubby Stripes Cardigan

Knit in Luna (100% Peruvian cotton - 82 yds/50 g)
3-4 sks of 725 & 728; 2-3 sks of 724
Sizes:  6/12/24 months

Knit in one peice cuff-to-cuff, this cozy sweater combines great texture, combined with the ease of a cardigan, and minimal finishing.
Everyday Clutch

Knit in Pastaza (50% Llama/50% wool - 132 yds/100 g)
2 sks of 9930 (Hand Paint) and 1 sk of 040.

A geometric mosaic pattern and a handpainted yarn give this bag exquisite texture.  Make one up in your favorite color combination.

A majority of the swatches in the book are knit in Cascade 220 and Melissa Leapman has this to say about 220 - "This yarn is fantastic:  It is well priced, has great yardage per hank, feels wonderful to knit, and is available in nearly a gazillion colors."
